The Hirths in Asia Most Asian cities have an extreme shortage of mental health care workers. This reality, combined with strong cultural expectations on pastors to care for their communities, has created a tremendous need for Christian counseling training in Asia. Missionary Athletes International Graham and Lori use soccer to share the Gospel in areas that might otherwise not be open to faith. A primary focus is to train "sports ministers," creating camps and youth clubs to intentionally spread Christ both locally and internationally.
