In chapter five, we see Paul bridge a difficult situation in the Corinthian church: a situation of scandalous
sin met with an equally scandalous reaction by the church. It becomes clear that the Corinthian church
had one serious problem – sin. As followers of Jesus today, we have the same problem and, as the
