In Acts 5:12–42, the apostles perform miraculous signs and wonders that draw respect from the people but stir up jealousy among the religious leaders, leading to their arrest and persecution. Despite opposition and with miraculous intervention,  the apostles boldly continue preaching Christ, rejoicing in their suffering and demonstrating unwavering obedience to God over man.
