At the Tabernacle we aim to provide a fun and safe environment for our teens through Foundry Student Ministries. It's a place where 7th-12th grade students get to hang out, play games, and encounter Jesus in a variety of ways. The best part is that they get to discuss their thoughts and opinions on topics relevant to what they're going through today and decide how they see Jesus relate to their lives.

Foundry Student Ministries is available at both campuses and is split up into two groups at each campus: Ablaze and Inferno. Ablaze is high energy for 7th-9th grade (and in Buckley, meets on Wednesdays at "the Firehouse" from 6-8pm). Inferno is slightly more chill for 10th-12th grade (and meets in Buckley on Saturdays from 4:30-7pm).

On any given night, between 70-100 students will grace the doors of our student ministry programs.  These students come from Buckley to Benzie,  Mesick, Kingsley, Manistee, and other surrounding communities.

We have an amazing team of committed volunteers led by a student ministries pastor that are all about feeding our students, teaching our students, and developing our students to be leaders in the church and in the community.

Many of our students answer the “Foundry Call,” helping those in the community with our Outreach programs as well as teaming up with the Freedom Builders ministry.

Throughout the year, students connect and grow through service projects, retreats, concerts and events with various other churches and ministries in Northern Michigan and beyond.
